In striving to do the right thing, and to be the person we want to be; in striving to live a life of gratitude and service; it’s all too easy to forget that it all starts at home, with those closest to us. If we can’t practice being of service and gratitude there then what hope is there for our being able to take this attitude and way of life further afield?
Working long hours, every day, leaves little or no time to do outside work activities. I have therefore found that I have become very focused, when I do have time, on key activities. I have prioritised, if you will.
What I have learned from this experience is that it is not just one part of a process that determines an outcome. It is all the steps in that process combined.
